These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of services provided by The Tarot Nerd ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
2. Tarot Readings
2.1. Nature of Services: Tarot readings are for entertainment and guidance purposes only. They do not constitute legal, medical, financial, or professional advice. Tarot readings should not be considered a substitute for professional advice or treatment.
2.2. Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to use our tarot reading services. If you are under 18, you must obtain permission from a parent or legal guardian.
2.3. Confidentiality: We respect your privacy, and all information shared during your tarot reading session will be kept confidential. We will not disclose any details of your session without your explicit consent, except as required by law.
2.4. Recording: You are not allowed to record or reproduce the tarot reading session without the tarot reader's consent.
3. Booking and Payment
3.1. Booking: You can schedule a tarot reading session through our website or by contacting us directly. Appointments are subject to availability.
3.2. Payment: Payment for our services is due at the time of booking, and the fees are clearly stated on our website. We accept payment through the methods specified on our website.
3.3. Cancellations and Rescheduling: If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment may result in a forfeiture of the payment .
3.4 Special Events: In the event of cancellation or rescheduling for an event booking, the following terms shall apply:
i. Cancellation or rescheduling made at least 14 days prior to the Event will incur no charges.
ii. Cancellation or rescheduling made within 7 to 14 days prior to the Event will result in the Client paying 50% of the agreed-upon fee.
iii. Cancellation or rescheduling made less than 7 days prior to the Event will result in the Client paying 100% of the agreed-upon fee.
4. Refund Policy
4.1. Refunds: We do not offer refunds for completed tarot reading sessions. Refunds are only provided if we are unable to fulfill your booking and you will be notified by email if this occurs.
4.2. No Show: If you fail to attend your scheduled appointment without prior notice, you will not be eligible for a refund.
5. Code of Conduct
5.1. Respect: You agree to treat us with respect and courtesy during all interactions. Any disrespectful or abusive behavior will not be tolerated, and we reserve the right to terminate the session without a refund.
5.2. Non-Discrimination: We do not tolerate discrimination or harassment based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or any other protected status.
6. Special Events
6.1 When booking The Tarot Nerd for special events, all details regarding the Event's date, time, location, and any specific instructions must be provided one week prior to the Event.
6.2. The event booker shall ensure that their event has a suitable space to conduct tarot readings, with adequate lighting and seating.
6.3 When collaborating on promotional materials or social media posts, any use of The Tarot Nerd's name or likeness for event promotion must be agreed upon in writing by both parties.
6. Disclaimer
6.1. Accuracy: While we strive to provide meaningful and insightful tarot readings, Tarot readings are based on intuition and symbolism, and their accuracy is not guaranteed. Tarot readings are subjective and open to interpretation.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1. Exclusion of Liability: We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your tarot reading session. Tarot readings are for entertainment purposes only, and you are solely responsible for your choices and actions.
8. Changes to Terms and Conditions
8.1. Amendments: We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. The latest version of the Terms will be posted on our website. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for updates.
9. Governing Law
9.1. Jurisdiction: These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
